Odd Box Records are re-issuing Nervous Twitch ’s incredible LP Don’t Take My TV on vinyl for the first time, with an official release date of August 26th. Nervous Twitch are a Leeds based band who serve up “catchy, effervescent punk-pop” Louder Than War, one that’s angst-ridden and dining on an ode to Riot Grrl, surf and garage-rock.

Don’t Take My TV is the second album by Nervous Twitch and comes from a pretty expansive back-catalogue of singles and EPs, one which has seen them acquire significant praise and a recent radio session on Marc Riley’s BBC 6 Music show. The band will be performing at this year’s Indietracks festival.

NERVOUS TWITCH

“distinct-sounding tunes which draw on classic Americanisms like blues, surf, and rock’n’roll, but filter them through a blasé English indie-pop sensibility.”
Collective Zine

“Think of what La Luz would be had they taken their cues from the poppy side of punk”
Heatwave Mag

“Paying homage to the Ramones and their favourite 60s girl-groups via the medium of punky pop songs.”
Louder Than War

“there are reflections of modern garage bands like NOBUNNY and The 5678’s, whilst they also contain elements of 60’s garage/pop bands like The Animals and The Shangri-Las.”
