HOOP DOOP INTRODUCES THE DESIGNERS OF THE NEXT AMSTERDAM INTERNATIONAL FASHION WEEK.

Elise Kim is an Amsterdam based womenswear and accessories brand founded in 2010 by designer Elise Kim. Elise Kim was born in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam in 1986. At a very young age, Elise already knew textiles was her passion, she always collected and played with different kinds of materials. When Elise was 16, she left Vietnam to study high school in Toronto, Canada. After high school, Elise Kim moved to Italy to study Fashion Design at Istituto Marangoni in Milan. Following Istituto Marangoni, Elise studied Fashion Design and Styling at Amsterdam Fashion Institute in Amsterdam and Central Saint Martins in London. She graduated in 2010 at the Amsterdam Fashion Institute. During her study, Elise did internships with Mexx in Amsterdam, Bambi by Laura in Barcelona and Iris van Herpen in Arnhem.

A few months after graduating, Elise Kim was granted the BKVB Funding to start her own brand.
