FUZZ CLUB FESTIVAL EINDHOVEN 2018 Later this year London indie label/online record store Fuzz Club are going to be taking over the Dutch city of Eindhoven for a huge two-day festival at the lauded Effenaar venue, in collaboration with the masterminds behind Eindhoven Psych Lab. Fuzz Club Eindhoven 2018 will be taking place over August 24-25th and sees a long list of the label’s friends and family descend on the city for two days of sonic mayhem and good times. Headlining the festival is none other than Texas psych-rock heavyweights The Black Angels who return to European shores following last year’s critically-acclaimed Death Song LP. Joining them will be Brooklyn noise-rock juggernauts A Place To Bury Strangers, transcendental French duo The Limiñanas, Spectrum (the post-Spacemen 3 project of drone-rock messiah Peter Kember/Sonic Boom), as well as The Underground Youth, Holy Wave and Josefin Öhrn. On top of that will be London’s psych-pop sweethearts Ulrika Spacek, Philly garage-punk maverick Ron Gallo and the dusty, meditative desert-blues of Tuareg guitarist, Mdou Moctar, hailing all the way from the plains of Niger. For those with a heavier, far-out affliction there will be Dutch industrialists RMFTM, The Cult Of Dom Keller and special sets from The Cosmic Dead, Nik Rayne of The Myrrors and Salford experimentalists Gnod (R&D) – a stripped-back take on the band comprised of co-founders Paddy Shine and Chris Haslam, though you can be sure they’ll be bringing some collaborators with them too. Among the countless bands flying the Fuzz Club flag will be label stalwarts like The Oscillation, Sonic Jesus, Dead Rabbits, New Candys, 10 000 Russos, The Wands and The Third Sound, as well as newer signings like Dead Vibrations, Medicine Boy, Spirit Valley, You Said Strange and JuJu. As well as heaps of killer bands Fuzz Club will also be bringing a huge record fair at the festival with boxes upon boxes of Fuzz Club releases, distro items and special releases exclusive to the festival. Talking of the festival, Fuzz Club founder Casper Dee explains: “A big part of what we at Fuzz Club want to do this year is take a step back from being just a label and go about celebrating the amazingly far-reaching and creative scene we find ourselves so lucky to be involved in. One of the ways we’re planning on doing that is with Fuzz Club Eindhoven 2018. We really wanted to create an event that brings together this huge international community and showcases the bands in the best possible way – and what better way than throwing a huge two-day party with heaps of our friends! It’s going to be a pretty special weekend.” Fuzz Club Eindhoven 2018 will take place August 24-25 Full line-up: The Black Angels, A Place To Bury Strangers, The Limiñanas, Spectrum, The Underground Youth, Holy Wave,Josefin Öhrn, Ron Gallo, Mdou Moctar, Ulrika Spacek, Gnod (R&D), The Cosmic Dead & Friends, The Cult Of Dom Keller, The Oscillation, Sonic Jesus, Radar Men From The Moon, Dead Rabbits, New Candys, 10000 Russos, Desert Mountain Tribe, Medicine Boy, Tales Of Murder And Dust, The Wands, The Third Sound, Dead Vibrations, Nonn, Throw Down Bones, The Gluts, Spirit Valley, Pretty Lightning, Helicon, JuJu, Nik Rayne (The Myrrors), Black Lizard, Sekel and You Said Strange.
